"Snickerdoodle Muffins"
Fun to Say and Yummy to Eat

Everyone likes snickerdoodles, now you can have them for breakfast.
Wow! "Snickerdoodle Muffins".



Ingredients

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of nutmeg
Dash of cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup melted butter

1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 cup melted butter

Pre-heat oven at 350. Grease and flour cups of muffin pan; set aside. In a large mixing bowl combine dry ingredients, flour, sugar, baking powder, cream of tarter, baking soda, salt and the dash of spices. make a well in the center of the mix; set aside. In a small bowl melt 1/3 cup butter, pour 1/2 cup milk into the butter, add slightly beaten egg to the butter and milk mixture and stir together. Pour milk mixture into the well of dry ingredients, stir until just moistened (batter may be lumpy.)
Fill muffin cups two-thirds full with batter and bake for 20 minutes.

Meanwhile in a shallow bowl melt 1/4 cup butter; set aside. also in a shallow bowl combine 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. When muffins come out of the oven, immediately dip tops of muffins into melted butter then into sugar mixture until coated. Serve warm, makes 8 muffins. Enjoy!
