Delicious Caramel Macchiato
Caramel and Coffee...Yum!

The Caramel Macchiato, sweetened with vanilla and caramel, is as much a dessert as a morning eye opener.



Ingredients

1 1/3 cups espresso (or strong French roast coffee)
2 tablespoons vanilla syrup
1/4 cup caramel sauce (caramel ice cream topping will work)
2 cups whole milk, steamed
whipped cream (optional)

Spoon in just enough caramel sauce to cover to bottom of two coffee cups. Pour in about 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup into each cup. More can be added for sweeter flavor.

Gently fill cups 2/3 full with steamed milk. Fill remainder of cup with espresso.

Spoon in foam from steamed milk to cover top of cup. Top with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel, if desired.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy!
